This is my transformational painting of All American Comics Vol. 1, No. 61. The original artwork was first published October 1941 and is the first appearance of Solomon Grundy. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 7 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 1/4 inches.
