This is my transformational painting of Superman Vol. 2, No. 53 comic cover. The original artwork was first published March 1991. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 6 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 inch.
