This is my transformational painting of Captain America Vol. 1, No. 100 comic cover. The original artwork was first published April 1968. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 7 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 1/8 inches.
