This is my transformational painting of Journey Into Mystery Vol. 1, No. 83 comic cover. The original artwork was first published August 1962. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 7 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 1/8 inches.
