This is my transformational painting of the Giant Size X-Men Vol. 1, No. 1 comic cover. The original artwork was first published July 1975. To create the amazing 3D effect of my style, I reverse paint on multiple layers of optically clear acrylic. This particular painting has 7 layers which gives it a depth of over 1 1/8 inches.
